For over 25 years, Southwest Care Center has been providing exceptional healthcare to the communities of Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. We are a non-profit, FQHC-LAL providing medical, behavioral health, case management, community outreach, diabetes education, and pharmacy services. We are proud to offer gender equity medicine, syringe exchange, and HIV/HepC treatment, testing and other services within our communities.

Southwest Care Center is currently seeking full-time Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist to support our Jefferson Clinic in Albuquerque, NM.

Position Details:

Under the direction of the Ancillary Services Manager and in collaboration with the Finance and Case Management Departments, the Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist will perform a variety of technical, administrative support and financial services for the Ryan White HIV Program which includes Ryan White Part B and Part C. This position will provide data management and administrative support associated with the Ryan White Program and is responsible for coordinating submission of all grant and technical reports for the Ryan White Program.

Position responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Prepare and submit reports, invoices, and other relevant work products for the Ryan White Program timely and accurately.
  • Produce regular data reports as requested by the Director, Ryan White, HCV & Specialty Populations or other leaders of SCC.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure protocols, guidelines and processes of the Ryan White Program are being followed, grant funds are used as payer of last resort and we have appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Maintains accurate and complete electronic hard copies of grant files and data.
  • Operate data entry software such as CAREWare.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports including but not limited to RSR, RDR, WICY, Expenditure and
  • Allocation reports to HRSA’s Electronic Handbook (EHB) or other systems to manage our grant
  • Adhere to other reporting requirements as required by HRSA and the State of New Mexico. 
  • Assists in the development of processes to improve, expand and further outline the elements of required data collection and reporting.
  • Assists in the compilation and preparation of audits with external organizations in accordance with the grant standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate the planning and preparation of grants and provide guidance to individuals or departments on the regulations and requirements of the award.
  • Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Candidate Highlights:

  • 3+ years experience with State and/or Federal grants administration and program/project management, preferably with the Ryan White Program.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
